“Omne trium perfectum” – everything that comes in threes, is perfect.
That was certainly the case for AdMakers International on Thursday night at the 21st prestigious “Africa/Arabia” International Property Awards held in Dubai – the “Oscars” of the real estate world. Established in 1989, AdMakers is the most awarded agency in real estate in the world.
Continuing the agency’s run of success on the international creative scene, AdMakers made a clean sweep of every category it entered, winning a five-star award for “Best Real Estate Marketing – South Africa” for its client Da’ Realty, for the marketing of the prestigious new project “Aurum” (the redevelopment of the old Ambassador Hotel in Bantry Bay, Cape Town). AdMakers’ in-house 3D and film department developed all the architectural models/films for Aurum, whilst its graphic and web departments took care of world-class printed and digital collateral.
AdMakers was subsequently also awarded with five stars in the category “Best Retail Interior – South Africa”, for its exceptional pop-up store created for the iconic Italian “Riva” Shipyard in the V&A Waterfront shopping centre in Cape Town – designed and executed within record time by the agency’s own design and construction teams. AdMakers received a further five star award for “Best Individual Residence – South Africa” (AdMakers entered the latter category on behalf of its client Val de Vie for “Valentia Manor”).
At the subsequent black-tie Gala Event last night at the Marriot Hotel in Dubai, AdMakers once again made a clean sweep with all three of its earlier entries being awarded with five stars as “Best African/Arabian Region” entries. When one considers the massive new iconic real estate developments not only going up in Dubai at present, but also in Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia (tallest building in the world at 1.6km high) and the rest of Africa, these latest of AdMakers’ achievements are placed in new perspective – in terms of the agency’s traditional excellence in real estate marketing, but also in interior design.
The three African/Arabian winning entries by AdMakers will now compete against the winning entries from the Americas, Europe and Australasia. The overall winners will be announced in London on 12 December 2016.
The awards entries are judged by a panel of around 80 seasoned international real estate professionals – from well-known architects and marketers to international interior designers and even royalty (the Earl of Liverpool – Chairman of the International Property Awards, Lord Caithness – Chairman of Judging for Development Categories, and Lord Best – Chairman of Judging for Real Estate Categories).
JP Fourie, CEO of AdMakers – who received the awards on behalf of the agency – had this to say: “These awards are a tribute to all the clients who entrusted AdMakers with amazing projects over the past 27 years, to the hard work of everyone involved and to the depth of not only the creative talent, but also the enthusiasm, diligence and consistency in the agency.”
With an overall total of more than 100 awards to their name since they started entering the International Property Awards in 2002, AdMakers has won more International Property Awards than any other company worldwide. The awards organisers received over 400 entries from 61 countries for the Interior Design category alone.
The International Property Awards are open to residential and commercial property professionals from around the globe. They celebrate the highest levels of achievement, by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry.
“The International Property Awards is the world’s largest, most prestigious, and widely recognised programme for achievements in the real estate world. The 2016 International Property Awards have received more than 2,000 entries from over 110 countries. The total value of the competing projects for 2016 is estimated at an astronomical figure of over £20bn.”
