The 21st International Property Awards were hosted at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai last week (3rd and 4th of December 2014). Real Estate developers and other industries related to global real estate development like famous architects and designers attended this prestigious awards ceremony, which was followed by a breathtakingly glamorous gala event for an estimated 500 people from countries far and wide – made possible by its main sponsors, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and global accounting giant Ernst & Young.
The International Property Awards focuses on property development, architecture, innovation, eco-awareness, marketing and excellence. Developments from around the globe compete to take home the ultimate prize of 5-star and to be crowned the World’s Best in each category.
This gathering represents unrivalled access to the foremost firms in the global commercial and residential property fields via their decision makers. These include Presidents, CEOs, CFOs, MDs, Sales & Marketing Directors, Chairmen, Investment Officers, Planning & Strategy Directors and Global Business Leaders. Collectively, they are responsible for literally billions of dollars worth of residential and commercial projects across the world.
The esteemed panel of judges was made up of 85 independent judges chaired by three active members of the UK’s House of Lords, Lord Caithness, Lord Best and Lord Courtown. Amongst the judges were building consultants, architects, marketers, interior designers of global companies as well as the Guinness World record holder for the most travelled person on Earth.
On Thursday 4th December the morning started off with awards for Best in the African and Arabian countries. Cape Town based agency AdMakers was awarded the following awards in this category:
5-star awards for Best Development Marketing Nigeria for One Zero Five Place.
5-star award for Best Development Marketing South Africa for Polo Village at Val De Vie Estate.
Highly commended for Developer Website for One Zero Five Place and for Polo Village as well as Commercial High-rise Development, Nigeria, for One Zero Five Place. AdMakers also received a highly commended award for Development Marketing for its new ‘Marina Village at Club Mykonos’.
Gold award in the Safe Homes category for Val De Vie Estate.
The lavish gala event saw the venue transform from a business-networking environment into a magnificent ballroom with multi-course meals and entertainment. The evening ended off with the award ceremony for all international categories where the top winners from each region (the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Africa, Arabia and the UK) were announced.
There were five nominees in the category for ‘Best International Development Marketing’ in the world for 2014. Finally, AdMakers was awarded the overall ‘grand-prix’ of the International Property Awards for BEST INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE MARKETING.
This year’s nine awards takes the total number of awards that AdMakers has received up to 100 International Property Awards since 2002 (when the agency first entered the awards), making the Cape Town based agency, which also celebrated its 25th year of existence in 2014, the world’s most awarded Real Estate marketing agency.
